The Atchison County Development Corporation (ACDC) board met May 13, 2026, in the ACDC office. Present were: Lori Seymour, Mary Ann Hull, Eryn Stepp, Craig Corken, Josh Oswald, and W.C. Farmer, board members; and Monica Bailey, director.

Lori Seymour called the meeting to order.

Board members approved the April meeting minutes.

They also voted to approve the April financials as presented.

Farmers State Bank CD #312 was reinvested into a new CD (with an additional $10,000 added to it) on April 21 (four months at 3.84%).

Director’s Report

Bailey attended several meetings in the past month, including Roundtable of Economic Developers, CFNWMO Directors Fund Committee, Multi-Modal Advisory Subcommittee, and NWWEF lunch with Ernesto Sirolli.

Several ACDC grants have funds remaining this year:

• Community Cleanup & Beautification ($25-$500 per grant), $1,500 left

• Business Improvement (maximum $1,000-$2,500 per grant), $7,000 left

• Nonprofit (maximum $2,500 per grant), $10,000 left

• Youth Beautification ($500 maximum), $1,500 left

Old Business

Board members voted unanimously to amend the bylaws as discussed.

New Business

The group discussed ACDC’s fiscal oversight strategy and the need for an internal audit to be conducted by an external entity.

The meeting was then adjourned.
