The 86th annual Class 1 Missouri State High School Activities Association Golf Tournament was held Monday and Tuesday, May 18 and 19, 2026, at the Rivercut Golf Course in Springfield.
Senior Blue Jay Tayden Cook placed sixth at the meet, golfing a 79 the first day and a 77 the second day for a total of 156. Tayden is Rock Port High School’s first three-time male medalist and claims the highest placing a male golfer has achieved in school history.
Individual scores for the other Rock Port golfers were: Grady Cook, 180, tied for 61st place; Henley Mace, 191, 83rd place; Ryzer Hale, 195, 85th place; and Jack Meyerkorth, 202, 90th place.
The team tied for ninth place with a score of 717.
