Keira Lynn Roup
As graduation approaches, Keira Lynn Roup is looking ahead to an exciting new chapter. She plans to attend the University of Nebraska, Lincoln, where she will major in Child, Youth, and Family Studies, a path that reflects her passion for working with and supporting others.
During her time in high school, Keira found a special connection with math, not only because she enjoys the subject more than language, but also because of the impact of her teacher, Mrs. Dush. Outside the classroom, she spent much of her time hanging out with friends and babysitting, building relationships that made her high school years both fun and meaningful.
One of Keira’s favorite memories comes from cheering at the state football games, as well as the van rides to and from golf. She describes her high school experience in three words: fun, memorable, and fast.

Keira says her mom is her biggest role model, someone who has always shown her love, support, and guidance. As she prepares to graduate, she shares a piece of advice for underclassmen, “Live in the moment. It’s not that deep, and people don’t really care as much as you think.”
Looking back, Keira says she would spend even more time with friends if she could do it all over again. That appreciation for connection is what she says she will miss most, especially her younger friends who are still in school.
In the future, Keira hopes to be married and either traveling or starting a family, embracing whatever opportunities come her way. No matter where life takes her, one thing is certain, she will carry forward the memories, friendships, and lessons that made her high school experience unforgettable.

Darika Bywater
As high school comes to an end, Darika Hope Bywater is getting ready to begin a brand-new chapter of life. After graduation, she plans to attend Missouri Western State University to study Business Management, while continuing to figure out where life will take her next.
Like many seniors, Darika says she’s both excited and nervous about the future. The idea of being on her own can feel overwhelming at times, but she knows she has people around her who will support her every step of the way.
Throughout high school, the people around her made a lasting impact. Darika says science became one of her favorite subjects because of Mrs. Jenkins and the fun environment she created in class. She also says one of her favorite memories from senior year was being in Mrs. Bebb’s class, calling her “the best.” When graduation comes, Darika knows she’ll miss teachers like Mrs. Bebb along with close friends such as Alley Sharpless.

Family has always been especially important to Darika. She says her older sister, Jayden, has been her biggest role model because she never gave up, even during difficult times. Watching her sister grow into a strong person with a family of her own inspired Darika to keep pushing herself and stay strong no matter what challenges come her way.
Outside of school, Darika enjoys spending time with her sisters, nephew, and boyfriend. She also loves basketball and pickleball and enjoys making memories with the people closest to her.
When reflecting on high school, Darika describes the experience as “draining, emotional, and experimental,” but says she wouldn’t change a thing. The biggest lesson she hopes younger students learn is to stay on top of their work, listen to their teachers, and keep pushing themselves, even when things get difficult.
Looking ahead, Darika hopes to one day work as an esthetician and be happily married. For now, she’s focused on enjoying the final moments of senior year and preparing for whatever comes next.

Camden McEnaney
For Camden William James McEnaney, high school was full of hard work, football memories, and friendships he won’t forget. As graduation gets closer, Camden is ready to take on the next chapter of life and begin a career as a turbine technician.
Camden has always enjoyed working outside, so a hands-on career felt like the right fit for him. Looking ahead, he hopes to one day be living on a farm while continuing to work on turbines.
Some of Camden’s favorite memories came from the football field, especially making it to state football during his senior year. He says he’ll miss his friends and teammates the most once graduation arrives.
When asked who has had the biggest impact on his life, Camden pointed to Dalton Jones for showing him the importance of respect and dedication. Those lessons have stuck with him throughout high school.

Although Camden says the four years went by faster than he expected, he wouldn’t change anything about his experience. He describes high school as “fun, exhausting, and long,” and encourages younger students to “enjoy it while it lasts.”
With his strong work ethic and straightforward attitude, Camden is excited for what comes next, especially the opportunity to build a future for himself doing work he enjoys.

Logan Thomas Lomax
Logan Thomas Lomax has gone to Rock Port for nine years. He joined in third grade. His plans after high school are still undecided, but he is most excited to find out what he is doing. In school, his favorite subject was history because the past intrigued him. Growing up, Logan said his biggest role model was Andy Anderson. Andy is a professional skateboarder who is always pushing boundaries and maybe not in skating, but Logan also wants to push the boundaries. The best advice he would give underclassmen is to “push yourself and keep a wide range of interests.” Advice someone gave him is, “It doesn’t matter what you do when you get out of high school; it just matters that you find something you enjoy and live off of.”
Something he wished someone would have told him before entering high school is how difficult some of the language assignments are. Outside of school Logan enjoys skateboarding and spending time with friends. His favorite high school memory is when he and his friend, Thomas, did wood burning in art class.
Something he will miss the most is his friends, and the time he spent with them. He also enjoys listening to music in his free time. His favorite song is “Pass Me By” by Insane Clown Posse. Logan says if he were to go back and restart high school he wouldn’t change anything. Describing his high school experience he said, “slow, entertaining, and enjoyable.” In 10 years Logan sees himself in a detailing shop working hard to one day have his own.
