Northwest Missouri State University honored its spring graduates during four commencement ceremonies Friday and Saturday, May 1 and 2, awarding a record 1,659 degrees while celebrating students’ journeys and offering encouragement to embrace the unknowns ahead.

Atchison County students who completed requirements for degrees at the conclusion of the 2026 spring semester were:

Fairfax – Christin Dush, Education Specialist, Education Leader K-12; Joeigh Eaton, Master of Science in Education, School Counseling; and Benjamin Rogers, Master of Arts, Strategic Communication.

Rock Port – Ryan Bradley, Bachelor of Science, Accounting: Public; Erika Elam, Bachelor of Science, Human Services; Alexander Long, Bachelor of Applied Science, Political Science; Melanie Lucas, Master of Science in Education, Reading

Tarkio – Alexis Lauren Gibler, Bachelor of Science, Psychology, Magna Cum Laude (cumulative GPA of 3.75 to 3.94)

Westboro – Kaitlyn Grace Hall, Bachelor of Science, Accounting: Public
