Enel Green Power North America continues their commitment to Tarkio Tech’s Wind Energy Tech program for the sixth consecutive year through their scholarship program.

Enel was one of the first corporate sponsors to step up with a $20,000 donation when Tarkio Technology Institute opened their doors in January 2020. They followed that initial donation by creating a scholarship program for the wind tech program in the fall of 2020. Enel’s scholarship covers over one-half of the program’s tuition and fees for two students who reside in a community that houses an Enel wind farm.

The Enel scholarship provides a great opportunity for students to receive their training and enter the workforce without accumulating significant debt. The wind tech program is one of Tarkio Tech’s fastest growing programs, with most of the graduates working in Atchison County or one of the adjacent Missouri or Iowa counties.
