The 2026-2027 school year will begin this month, and parents will soon begin the registration process for their children.

TARKIO R-I

Registration for Tarkio Elementary students will be Thursday, August 6, from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Junior high and high school students will register Tuesday, August 11. Students in grades 6-12 can register from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Students who are new to the Tarkio R-I School District may come to the high school office to register Tuesday, August 11, from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m.

Please come during your assigned time slot. Sibling packets may be returned together.

If the aforementioned days and/or times do not work for you or your family, contact the high school office to schedule an alternate time (660-736-4118).

The first day of school at Tarkio R-I is Monday, August 24. School will dismiss that day at 12:30 p.m.

FAIRFAX R-3

Registration for Fairfax R-3 Elementary, Junior High, and High School will be Wednesday, August 12, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the school library.

The first day of school for Fairfax R-3 students is Wednesday, August 26. School will dismiss at 12:08 p.m. that day.

ROCK PORT R-II

Registration for grades K-12 at Rock Port R-II Schools will be Monday, August 17, and Tuesday, August 18.

All elementary students grades K-5 will need to register in the school cafeteria on Monday, August 17, and Tuesday, August 18, 9:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. Parents will need to fill out registration forms, health and lunch forms, and sign up for bus routes.

Juniors and seniors will register Monday, August 17, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and freshmen and sophomores will register from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Students going into sixth, seventh, and eighth grades will register Tuesday, August 18, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

Students and families new to the district will register Tuesday, August 18, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Rock Port R-II students will begin the new school year Tuesday, August 25. It will be a regular day, with high school from 7:50 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and elementary from 8:00 a.m. to 3:40 p.m. NOTE: Buses will run regular scheduled times the morning of August 25.
