The top male competitors and top three finishers of the Tarkio Triathlon were Bryan Caudill, Kenneth Hamilton, and Matthew Hazen.
The top female competitors of the Tarkio Triathlon were Lexi Johnson, Kelly Davis, and Sam Stivers.
Dallas Barrett competes in the swimming portion of the triathlon at the Tarkio Municipal Pool. He finished 8th overall.

The Tarkio Parks & Recreation Board hosted its first triathlon Saturday, August 8, 2026, in Tarkio. It was a beautiful summer morning for a swim (.47 mile), bike ride (12.4 miles), and run (3.1 miles). Results from the event follow:
