Veterans Corner displays memorabilia from Atchison County veterans across the years, including World War I, World War II and the Vietnam War.

 

The display area in the Atchison County Memorial Building has been renamed Veterans Corner.

 

The Atchison County Memorial Building in Rock Port, Missouri, has renamed its display area the Veterans Corner along with updating its opening hours.

Anyone who wants to view the displays can do so from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and 12:00 noon to 4:00 p.m. on days that Veterans Corner is open to the public.

Dates the array will be available to view include: September 11, Patriot Day (8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. only); September 18, POW/MIA Recognition Day; November 11, Veterans Day; March 29, Vietnam Veterans Day; May 16, Armed Forces Day; May 25, Memorial Day; June 14, Flag Day; and July 4, Independence Day.
