The Missouri Soybean Association (MSA) is proud to share the 2026-27 class of the Missouri Grassroots Fellowship (MGF), welcoming seven soybean farmers from across the state into the organization’s leadership development program.

“Strong grassroots leadership has always been at the heart of the Missouri Soybean Association,” said Cody Brock, MSA president. “These seven farmers represent the future of our organization and industry. By giving them opportunities to learn, build relationships and engage directly in the issues affecting agriculture, we are investing in leaders who will carry the voice of Missouri soybean farmers forward.”

The Missouri Grassroots Fellowship class includes: District 1 – Gus Hurst, Tarkio; District 2 – Dillon Linneman, Carrollton; District 3 – Cole Gilkey, Monroe City, and Brooke Holiman, Centralia; District 4 – Micky Wyatt, Centerview, and Luke Noakes, Lowry City; and District 5 – Brian Martin, Centralia.

MGF is a collaborative, one-year experience for emerging soybean farmers from Missouri who possess a desire to learn more about the soybean industry, government action, and the market forces impacting agriculture. Through travel, networking and hands-on experiences, participants will strengthen their leadership skills while gaining a deeper understanding of the role they can play in supporting Missouri agriculture and rural communities.

The new class kicked off the fellowship this week in Iowa at the Farm Progress Show, where participants are gaining firsthand exposure to agricultural innovation, industry issues and opportunities shaping the future of soybean production.
