Autumn unfolds in the orange marigolds,

in the turning leaves and cool evening breeze.

Autumn unveils in the call of the quail,

in pheasant feathers and camouflage weather.

Autumn appears in the presence of deer,

in frosted grass and geese en masse.

Autumn shows in the harvest moon glow,

in neatly plowed fields and harvest yields.

Autumn showcases nature’s faces and places,

in seasonal celebration of God’s creation.
