This fall is jam packed with fun activities at East Atchison sporting events. This month and next, the East Atchison Lady Wolves volleyball teams and Wolves football team are preparing for their Pink-Out Nights and Senior Parent recognitions.

PINK-OUT/SENIOR NIGHT FOOTBALL

The East Atchison Wolves plan to hold their Football Pink Out Night Friday, September 25. East Atchison is playing Nodaway Valley that night at Tarkio. Kick-off is at 7:00 p.m.

The Schoolhouse Rock Team is planning a Cancer Awareness Event that night. There will be a jersey/t-shirt auction for senior football, cross country, and volleyball athletes with their last names and numbers on the shirts. There will be a sleeve of personalized pink golf balls with pictures of the senior girl golfers on them, a map of the Indian Run course with the EA Cross County Team members’ signatures, as well as a pink football with the players’ signatures, all to be auctioned off. If you wish to purchase a pink out shirt to wear to the game, forms are available in the Tarkio Elementary and High School offices and Fairfax High School office. The last day to order is Friday, September 18.

The East Atchison Senior Parent Recognition Night for the football team will be Friday, October 23, at Fairfax. The Wolves will be hosting DeKalb that night, with kick-off at 7:00 p.m.

PINK-OUT/SENIOR NIGHT VOLLEYBALL

The East Atchison Lady Wolves plan to hold their Pink Out and Senior Parent Recognition events the same evening, Tuesday, October 6, 2026. East Atchison will be competing against Rock Port at the TAC. Games begin at 5:30 p.m. That night, Kids’ Korner students will be saying the Pledge of Allegiance.

The Schoolhouse Rock Team is planning a Cancer Awareness Event. If you wish to purchase a pink out shirt ahead of time to wear, forms are available in the Tarkio Elementary and High School offices and at the Fairfax High School office. The last day to order is Friday, September 18. The FCCLA Chapter is helping by bringing baked goods for a bake sale. If anyone would like to donate bake sale items, please have them at the TAC by 4:30 p.m. on October 6. The bake sale will be set up in the lobby of the TAC. The East Atchison and Rock Port volleyball teams will each sign a pink volleyball that will be auctioned off at the conclusion of the varsity match. All proceeds will go to families in Atchison County who are battling cancer.
