Rock Port Food Pantry

The Rock Port Ministerial Alliance Food Pantry is low on the following items: Saltine crackers, mixed vegetables, instant mashed potatoes, pancake mix, syrup, cooking oil, chili beans, cereal (Raisin Bran, corn flakes, Cheerios), peanut butter, grape jelly, strawberry jelly, mandarin oranges, SPAM, pasta sauce, pineapple, fruit cocktail, floor cleaner, toilet cleaner, disinfectant wipes, sponges, men’s shaving cream, women’s shampoo, conditioner, dish soap, and laundry detergent (39 fl. oz. or larger).

The food pantry will be open Friday, September 25, 2026, 5:00 – 6:30 p.m.; Tuesday, October 6, 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon; Friday, October 9, 5:00 – 6:30 p.m.; Tuesday, October 20, 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon; and Friday, October 23, 5:00 – 6:30 p.m.

Donations can be taken to the Rock Port United Methodist Church, 211 W. Opp, Rock Port, Missouri, Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon and placed in the shopping cart. Tarkio/Westboro/Fairfax Food Pantry

The Tarkio/Westboro/Fairfax Food Pantry is currently low on the following items:  Apple juice (64 oz.), saltine crackers, brownie mix, boxed macaroni and cheese, Chicken Helper, Jello and instant puddings (small boxes), vegetables (15 oz. – canned potatoes, cut green beans, French style green beans, mixed vegetables, whole kernel corn, cream style corn, peas, carrots, kraut), beef and chicken broth (14.5 oz. can), canned pasta (beefaroni, SpaghettiOs), ground beef (1 lb. pkg.), frozen pizzas, Blue Bonnet margarine (lb. sticks), beef or chicken pot pies, and laundry detergent.

The food pantry, located at 315 Main Street in Tarkio, Missouri, will be open Thursday, September 17, 9:00 – 11:00 a.m.; Tuesday, September 22, 9:00 – 11:00 a.m.; and Thursday, September 24, 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. Volunteers to help open the food pantry are always appreciated as it takes many workers to keep this important mission to our communities open. Monetary donations slowed down during the summer months. It takes approximately $3,500 per month to stock the shelves, and the food pantry functions completely by donations, which are always appreciated. Donations may be sent to Anita Sutter, treasurer, at 26287 290th Street, Fairfax, MO 64446.
