Following the volleyball match with East Atchison, students, fans, and the band gathered on the elementary playground for a pep rally and bonfire.
Coach Dalton Jones introduced the guest speaker and team captains at the bonfire Thursday, September 10.
Dr. Burke was the hype man for the bonfire as he told them to “You Do You” in how they play the game.
The football team captains, Jack Meyerkorth, Westyn Amthor, Gabe Gebhards, and Brock Sebek-Holmes, thanked everyone for their support and ask them to come to the game to cheer them on.
The football team finished the bonfire with a team breakdown.
Molly and Andy Spiegel were selected to be the 2026 RPHS Fall Homecoming Parade Grand Marshals. The Spiegels have been great supporters of the Rock Port Schools over the years.
The Rock Port Teammates walked in the parade, handing out candy and information on how to become a mentor.

When not directing the band, drum majorette Sophie Storm shows off her twirling talent.
The trumpets were featured while the band played “Counting Stars.”
As Lance Lansdown and Jordan Christian prepped the Rock Port football field for Friday night’s game at Blue Jay Stadium, they added a memorial to the victims of September 11, 2001. As the game was getting started the crowd was asked to honor them with a moment of silence.
