It was pandemonium during the Rock Port Tourism Board’s ping pong ball drop at Old Fashioned Saturday Night on Main Street in Rock Port September 19, 2026.

Arya Thomas was one of the many youth attending Old Fashioned Saturday Night who got their faces painted.

New this year at the Old Fashioned Saturday Night event in Rock Port was a performance by the newly established Atchison County Community Band, led by Abby Palmer of Rock Port. The band played the national anthem and other musical numbers.

Bob Wilmes visits with Marvin Cooper, David Wedel, and Marietta Wedel by the Slo-Rollers car show. It was great to see Bob out and about. Groovy’s Grub and Memes Mercantile held fundraisers for Bob to help with medical expenses.
