The new Tarkio Elementary Student Council members of the 2026-2027 school year were voted on at the beginning of the school year. The student council is made up of three students from each 3rd grade, 4th grade and 5th grade class. Those selected to serve are: front row – Shaydee Howard, Leevi Driskell, Emmett Reeves, and Willow Wright; and back row – Brecklynn Lopez, Zaiden Miller, Reagan Dorrel, Cambria Baruth, and Kinslee Ohnmacht.
