Tarkio Friendship Day festivities begin this Friday, October 2. Free carnations will be handed out at the Flower Mill on Main Street in Tarkio, Missouri, beginning at 7:00 a.m. Grab a flower for you and two flowers for friends. Supplies are limited.

On Saturday, October 3, Main Street will be full of bounce houses, water fun, games, food vendors, business and organization vendors, and more from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. For children wanting to play the games, there is a $5 admission fee (this comes with a free hot dog and water). The first 200 people get in for free thanks to a generous donation from Double M Towing. There is no admission fee for anyone just browsing the vendor booths. The cost to set up a booth is $25. The Friendship Day Color Run/Walk will be held Sunday, October 4, with the start and finish line in the parking lot of the Tarkio Activity Center (TAC) at 13th and McNary/Tarkio Road.
