by Tatum Vogler
This year’s theme is a newspaper called The Daily Jay. It was chosen by Tatum Vogler, Landrey Kelly, and Braylyn Wood. We were inspired by old traditions and how different things are now.
The Mass Media III and IV students went to a yearbook workshop in St. Joe to design our cover. We incorporated many old sayings and pictures into our cover. We also found old newspapers for the back cover. We included many monumental moments in Blue Jay history such as the bell, Blue Jay hallway, and the old three-story school building.
You can preorder your yearbook for $50 until November 20. From November 21 through February 26, the price will be $55.
The Mass Media staff visited many different businesses in Rock Port, Tarkio, Mound City, Shenandoah and Auburn to sell sponsorships. We do this because our yearbooks are $75 to produce, so we want to make them more affordable for our students. We can do this by selling sponsorships and accepting donations.
Everything you see in the yearbook is made and run by the students in Mass Media, including Blue Jay Corner.
