Raylynn Jenkins
500 assists
It means a lot to Ray because it is a great achievement and it also helps her hitters reach their personal goals. All the hitters are getting kills and doing their job. Her favorite memory is beating Mound City in districts for the first time. She was excited and surprised when she met this goal. Ray said that her hands have gotten softer since her freshman year, which helps her get more assists. Besides her 500 assists she is most proud of the friendships she has made.

Braylyn Wood
500 kills and digs
It means a lot to Braylyn because it is exciting and great that she and her setters are reaching these goals. The advice Braylyn would give to younger athletes is to keep going, push through the hard parts and ride the highs. Braylyn’s next goal is to get 1000 digs and kills. Her motivation for the 500 kills was that many people want to achieve this goal and believed she could do it. Since her freshman year, Braylyn has improved her arm speed and learned to mix up her shots. Her coaches, club coach and teammates helped her achieve this goal.

Coach Parsons
150 wins
It means a lot to her. It is a huge accomplishment and that she has been working towards. She has always loved coaching volleyball and reaching a milestone always feels great. Even though there are many ups, there are also many challenges such as spending time making rotations. It is also challenging to put players in the positions they want and make everyone happy, but she also said the joys outweigh the hardships. Coaching has had an impact on her life, because she gets to see the excitement within the team. Coaching has taught her to be ready for anything. Her favorite memories are all the district wins. She remembers her first district win as a head coach, and when the team had a reverse sweep and won districts last year.
