Sweet Dreams Are Made Of This: Women’s Health Seminar

Community Hospital-Fairfax invites all female community members to attend the Sweet Dreams are Made of This Women’s Health Seminar on Saturday, September 26, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Tarkio Community Building, located on S. 3rd Street in Tarkio, Missouri. This is an educational and fundraising event dedicated to women’s health and wellness while supporting local healthcare needs.

The seminar will feature presentations from healthcare professionals addressing a range of important women’s health topics:

• Trennon Roarty, PT, DPT – Will present on pelvic floor health and incontinence, offering practical information on prevention, treatment options, and improving quality of life.

• Kasey Maag McDonald, DO – Will discuss arthritis, including symptoms, management strategies, and maintaining mobility and wellness.

• Shelbie Graham, DNP – Will speak on perimenopause and menopause, helping women better understand hormonal changes and available support options.

• Jessica Bowman, FNP – Will present on women’s mental health, addressing the importance of emotional wellness and available resources for women throughout different stages of life.

In addition to educational sessions, attendees will enjoy a continental breakfast, salad luncheon, local vendor shopping opportunities, door prizes, and the chance to connect with healthcare professionals and fellow community members.

Tickets are $25 per person and all proceeds from the event will benefit a fundraising initiative to purchase new hospital beds at Community Hospital-Fairfax, enhancing patient comfort and care in the community hospital.

“We are excited to bring together knowledgeable healthcare providers to share valuable information that empowers women to take charge of their health,” organizers said. “At the same time, attendees will be helping support an important project that will directly benefit patients in our community.”
